Explore the area

Currently all the apartments that we let are in the Baan Sathorn Chaophraya condominium. For you to get an idea of the neighbourhood and the geography of Bangkok, rather than just words and photographs we have used Google maps so that you can also get a spatial picture of the area.

These maps are continual works in progress and we have split them up into different categories, we have highlighted with placemarks places that we (and previous guests) think are of interest and importance. If you have any suggestions please email them to us and we will include it on the maps for other people to enjoy.

Below are Google maps (you can use Google Earth if you have the application on your PC). These are a range of maps or layers on top of the Google maps application helping you to explore, get a feel of the area and give you ideas of things to do.

The apartments that we let are situated in the riverside condominium Baan Sathorn ChaoPhraya, this riverside setting is one of Bangkok's five star neighbourhoods, and is surrounded by major hotels, such as the Peninsula, The Shangri-la, The Oriental, Chatrium suites and the Millennium Hilton - the location must be good!

According to Tripadvisor 7 of the top 20 Bangkok Hotels, are our direct neighbours.

Eating and drinking locally

Places to eat and drink local to Baan Sathorn ChaoPhraya Condominium. There are plenty of places to go around here that will suit all budgets and you can get around by walking, by boat (including free Hotel ferry services) or by Tuk Tuk or taxi.
